A stone walk through an arbor of sweet smelling honeysuckle and an old fashioned
front porch greet you at this romantic Circa 1800's Miners Cottage. French doors
open out onto a very private back deck that is enclosed by a 30 foot planted
rock bluff. The dark, rich tones of the Queen size mahogany antique style sleigh
bed contrasts beautifully with the creamy colors of the hand sewn quilts and
mountains of pillows. Enjoy the serenity of a dancing fire in the fireplace from
a cozy, overstuffed chair. Indulge yourself in the warm swirling water of a King
size whirlpool.
Rates:
November, December, January through May - $200.00 plus tax per 2
night stay, third night would be $89.00
June, July, August, September and October - $250 plus tax per 2 night
stay, third night would be $89.00

- The Garden Bluff Cottage is SMOKE FREE. In keeping with the tranquil atmosphere of an Inn/Cottages, our
guest rooms do not have phones.
- We are pet lovers, but not in our Cottage - Sorry!
- We have off street parking and storage space available for
bicycles, motorcycles and 4 wheel vehicles. (remember, we have a 40 mile trail
right across the street from us - and we have bikes available for our guests
use).
- If your plans change please advise us as soon as possible.

Old
Lumberyard Garden Bluff Cottage in Mineral Point is nestled against
beautifully planted rock bluffs in the midst of lush gardens. Enjoy the privacy of your
own deck and front porch. The Garden Bluff Cottage has a Queen size bed, a King size
whirlpool and a romantic fireplace. The cottage is decorated beautifully in
coordinated blends of color and furnished in lovely antique style furniture
with many unique accents. Hand sewn quilts, high quality cotton bedding, plush towels
and luxurious herbal bath products are just a few of the many outstanding
features we offer. The Garden Bluff Cottage is air conditioned and heated.

Inside Garden Bluff Cottage

Your cottage refrigerator will be filled with fresh
fruit, juice and coffee cake. Microwave popcorn, tea/coffee,
and hot chocolate are provided. The cottage is equipped with a microwave,
coffee maker and refrigerator.
Many of the buildings in The Old Lumberyard were built in the
1800's.
The land that
The Old Lumberyard complex is situated on is located in Mineral Point's Historic
District, having the unique advantage of being conveniently close to the
downtown area and also adjacent to the 40 mile Cheese Country Recreational
Trail. Within walking distance you can browse through the Artists Galleries and
Antique Shoppes, or catch a movie show or live theatre at the Historic Opera
House.
